FAQs

Everything you need to know about getting started with Momentive Community.
Momentive Community is built for associations and membership organizations of all sizes, as well as nonprofits with active constituent communities. It’s a strong fit for organizations where members currently connect through email lists, social groups, or scattered forums—and where staff are managing community engagement manually alongside their other responsibilities.
Momentive Community offers native two-way sync with Momentive AMS products (Nimble AMS, MC Professional, YourMembership AMS, Cobalt AMS, Aptify, and others). Member profiles, group memberships, and permissions stay current automatically. SSO lets members log in once across both platforms. For organizations using a third-party AMS, integration is available via MomentiveIQ Connections.
Not necessarily. If you have dedicated community staff, Momentive Community gives them AI-assisted tools to work more strategically—focusing on member relationships and programming rather than manual moderation and routine outreach. If community management is one of several responsibilities, the AI agentic worker handles moderation, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Member adoption follows value, not platforms. AMS-synced profiles, subcommunities organized around what members actually care about, and AI-driven engagement campaigns give members a reason to show up.
