CFRE Director of Development Radiation Oncology Institute

Ashlee Droscher, CFRE, is a nonprofit executive with more than two decades of experience helping organizations tell their story and connect with donors. Currently, she serves as Director of Development for the Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI), the 501(c)(3) foundation of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), where she leads revenue strategy, events, and brand presence—broadening the individual and family-foundation pipeline, refreshing donor communications and brand guidelines, and revitalizing signature experiences.

Previously, Ashlee was Director of Development at the SHRM Foundation, stewarding an annual campaign of roughly $5 million, securing multiple six-figure grants and sponsorships, and designing national initiatives that mobilized employers to support veterans, individuals with disabilities, and people with records. As Development Director for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, she led 75th-anniversary campaigns and events that expanded monthly giving by 48% and grew overall revenue 12% year over year.

Earlier in her career, Ashlee held progressively senior roles with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, leading campaigns exceeding $2.3 million annually and consulting across the Society’s 50-state network. She began in public relations and events with the American Red Cross. Ashlee holds an M.S. in Organization Development (American University/NTL) and a B.A. in Communication, Public Relations (University of the Pacific), and has been a Certified Fund Raising Executive since 2014. In her spare time, Ashlee volunteers in her community, walks her very slow English bulldog, and tries to keep up with her two young kids.

Madison Kautman joined the GiveSmart team over four years ago and is a fundraising professional with over eight years of experience working with nonprofits. Before her time with GiveSmart, Madison worked with numerous nonprofit organizations, including art galleries, art museums, children’s museums, and healthcare clinics.
